THE RS4 suspension is fully independent, with a four-link set-up at the front and double wishbones at the rear. At each end is an anti-roll bar, gas-filled shock absorbers and coil springs. The RS4 has been lowered by approximately 20mm compared with the A4. Other unique features include the use of aluminium for the control arms of the front suspension and the pivot bearings. The spring/shock absorber units and elastokinematics have also been retuned to suit the modified axle weights and axle geometry.
