A LARGE number of controls are presented to the RS4 driver, though most are within easy reach and require no great cerebral challenge. The rearview mirror is auto-dimming and the steering wheel - which adjusts manually for reach and height - is unusually free of buttons. Three steering column stalks share the windscreen wiper, (xenon) headlight, cruise control, indicator and trip computer controls, while electric window and external mirror switchgear is placed on the driver's door. A door lock switch can also be found on the driver's door, between the doorhandle and tweeter. Large buttons for ESP on/off, hazard lights and front and rear foglights are positioned on the dash fascia.
