THE standard one-stage remote central locking keypad has door lock/unlock buttons and a boot release. Door deadlocks are designed to impede unauthorised entry, while an engine immobiliser is a further deterrent should an intruder gain access to the cockpit and attempt to steal the vehicle. An alarm is available as an option. Other security measures include interior lights that are activated upon door unlock, security coding of the radio, provision of a lockable glovebox (which holds the CD changer) and a remote central door lock button on the driver's door.
