IN many ways the all-new MiTo is the most complete Alfa Romeo ever sold in Australia, since its fantastic styling inside and out is matched by a practical and spacious body of seemingly high quality. But a peek at the specifications will reveal a close association with the current Fiat Punto, as well as the Opel Corsa supermini not sold here. So, does the MiTo really have what it takes to challenge BMW’s established Mini Cooper? And, more fundamentally, does it drive like a ‘proper’ Alfa Romeo?
