WITH standard height adjustment and 40mm of fore-aft travel, the 156 is one Alfa most drivers should be able to get comfortable in. Both front seats have infinite reclining adjusters rather than ratchets. The front part of the seat structure has a magnesium frame 4kg lighter than its traditional equivalent, while the front section of the seat structure is shaped to prevent submarining.

The door panels and the dashboard have been treated using laser technology that minutely roughens the surface to minimise reflections.
