ALFA Romeo has again produced a car that stuns with its appearance and impresses with its performance and vehicle dynamics. The dominant shield grille brands it as an Alfa but at the same time defies the trend toward building scaled-down versions of larger stablemates. Nope, the 147 is unique - inside and out - while under the skin it features some familiar, proven mechanicals. Not least of these is the excellent Twin Spark engine and the front double wishbone/rear strut suspension.
