FIVE passengers can be accommodated in the 147 and each are provided with a three-point seatbelt and height-adjustable head restraint. The front occupants are particularly well catered for with seatbelt height adjustment, seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters, dual front airbags, seat-mounted side airbags and a head-protecting curtain airbag that runs along the window from the front (A) pillar to the centre (B) pillar. Small items can be stored in a push-out tray from the dash, inside the centre armrest, in the glovebox or on the centre console. Maps or a street directory will fit in the door or seatback pockets. A single push-out cupholder sits alongside the coin/card tray on the dash fascia.
