ACCESS to the luggage compartment can be made from either the remote keypad, a button on the dash or via the keyhole hidden behind the Alfa Romeo badge on the tailgate. There is no tailgate doorhandle. Interior dimensions are compact - maximum width of the cargo floor is 1257mm though usable width is little more than the 960mm minimum length to the upright seatbacks is 480mm, extendable to 1330mm when the 60/40 split-fold rear seat is put into action. Both the seatbase and seatback can fold to create a barrier between the cockpit and a flat cargo floor. Height to the parcel shelf is 480mm. Luggage capacity is 280 litres when the seats are up, 1030 litres when folded. A temporary spare is located underneath the cargo floor. Also provided are luggage tie-down points, a shopping bag hook and a cargo net across the seatbacks.
