ARGUABLY the most beautiful Alfa hatch of all time - now there's a statement - the 147 is both unmistakably Alfa in its DNA and yet set apart from other models in the range. Family features include the strong use of the Alfa shield grille - though this one plunges through the nose like no other - plus its coupe-like styling (rear doorhandles of the five-door model are hidden in the C pillar), classic aluminium doorhandles and the broad stance endowed by the wide track. Apart from the grille, elements unique to the 147 include the V-shaped rear window and the flute lines across the doors.
