WITH strong supplies on grass and at sea, Hyundai has discounted its Tucson petrol and petrol-electric hybrid range to the tune of $4100, seeing the entry-grade Tucson now available from $39,990 drive-away.
The drive-away offer, applicable to the range as detailed in the table below, is available throughout the second quarter (April-June), Hyundai listed 2575 petrol variants in dealer stock – with another 410 at sea – and 1266 hybrid variants in dealer stock – and a further 687 at sea.
With “good supply across all states and variants”, the Hyundai Tucson is available now with the choice of an Atkinson-cycle 2.0-litre naturally aspirated or turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine, or a turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol-electric hybrid in both front- and all-wheel drive formats.
In all, 17 Tucson variants are available spanning Tucson, N-Line, Elite, and Premium grades.
The Hyundai Tucson competes locally with the likes of the Toyota RAV4 (from $39,760 plus on-road costs), Honda CR-V (from $44,700 drive-away), Mitsubishi Outlander (from $37,740 +ORC), and Nissan X-Trail (from $37,250 +ORC).
