Mitsubishi joins end-of-year price party

AFTER its best ever first quarter, Mitsubishi is hoping to continue the sales momentum with a range of driveaway deals and cash-back offers of up to $3000 on selected models until May 31.

The greatest savings are on the Pajero GLX-R and VRX off-roaders, with $3000 cash back and a driveaway price of $54,990 and $59,990 respectively, down from $55,990 and $60,990 before on-road costs.

The single-cab Triton trade ute slips below $20,000 after a $1000 price chop, while the richly equipped GLX and top-specification GLX-R models offer $2000 cash back as well as driveaway pricing of $31,990 and $38,990 respectively.

A saving of $5000 is now available on the mid-size front-wheel-drive Outlander LS SUV at $29,990 but, as the new price now includes on-road costs, the savings are even greater.

The smaller ASX soft-roader also has a price reduction of $1000, bringing its price to $24,990.

While the Lancer Sport small sedan’s price stays the same, it too is now driveaway at $19,990.

Even Mitsubishi’s little Mirage now includes on-road costs and additional savings with $500 cash back for its $12,990 price tag.

Honda, Nissan and Citroen have also announced offers this month with combination of price reductions, warranty extension and roadside assistance to attract end of year sales.

Mitsubishi’s five year, 130,000km warranty, five-year roadside assistance and capped price servicing is unaffected by the end of year deals.
