IN ADDITION to the new 4.8-litre petrol engine and five-speed automatic transmission available on the ST and Ti models, the 2002 Patrol has received run-of-the-mill revisions to the grille, headlights, side guard mouldings, side steps, rear bumper and tail-lights. Ti also picks up redesigned alloy wheels, along with exclusive new colours. Inside, the dashboard and instrument cluster are also revised, the latter on Ti now featuring backlit gauges. The suspension has been retuned and NVH levels are claimed to have been reduced.
