Suzuki Ignis

Ignis

1 Jan 2017

After a 12-year hiatus Suzuki resurrected the Ignis name with an all-new model that brought unmistakable Japanese retro styling and a wide range of customisation options, wrapped up in a deceptively spacious body.

Power was exclusively from a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine with a choice of manual or CVT auto for the entry GL, while the more generously equipped GLX was an auto-only proposition.

A range of dealer-stocked switchable interior and exterior trims allowed owners to swap up the look of their Ignis at any time, while tech kit was generous for an offering in the affordable crossover segment.

Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, reversing camera, Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity were all features intended to capture a youthful audience.
