Suzuki widened the Grand Vitara’s track by 85mm to 1780mm – for improved handling and ride characteristics.

Both four-cylinder variants (1.6 Cabriolet and 2.0) were discontinued from September ’02. Anti-lock brakes were standardised from September ’03.
