Skoda Octavia

5E Series II Octavia

1 May 2017

A mid-life facelift for the Skoda Octavia arrived in May 2017, with 110TDI diesel variants and the high-riding Scout dropped from the local line-up.

However, standard equipment levels were raised for the remaining sedan and wagon model grades – including the Sport, which joined the range as a permanent member after previously being offered as an options pack.

Refreshed exterior styling featured, headlined by a new, polarizing split design for the headlights. Inside, the most obvious change was the addition of a large-size colour touchscreen – either 8.0- or 9.2-inches – to drive the small car's infotainment system.

Pricing fluctuated across the board, with increases as high as $1200 for some RS models.
