Renault Captur

Series II Captur

1 Sep 2017

Renault updated its Captur small SUV range, upgrading interior specification and changing variant nomenclature to reflect the naming conventions of its Clio, Megane and Koleos stablemates.

The Captur range continued to consist of two model grades – renamed Zen and Intens – while visual changes included the addition of C-shaped LED daytime running lights on the base model, which came with rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera.

The Zen also included a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity, auto folding mirrors, removable seat covers and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Stepping up to the flagship variant added hands-free parking, blind-spot warning, panoramic sunroof, dark leather upholstery, sat-nav, LED headlights and foglights, Arkarmys sound system and front and side parking sensors.

The Intens was also differentiated by 3D C-shape tail-lights, front and rear skid plate styling elements, chrome front grille and boot lid strips, tinted rear windows and tailgate and 17-inch alloys.

Renault’s extended grip control feature was also included in the Intens, which offered three different driving modes consisting of on-road, off-road and expert, to optimise grip in various conditions.
