There have been grumblings from critics about the lack of refinement or quality ambience, but the GEN.2’s perky performance (from a 82kW/148Nm 1.6-litre DOHC 16V four-cylinder engine), eager handling, long equipment list and keen pricing should make it the best Proton yet.
