Peugeot 2082081 Sep 2012 Peugeot’s 208 arrived in September 2012 to replace the aging 207 light hatch. The 208 was the first vehicle on the Australian market to be available without a CD player in response to the fall in CD sales. Available as a five-door hatch, except for the top-spec Allure which was three-door only, the 208 was powered by a tiny 60kW 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine with fuel economy of 4.5 litres per 100 kilometres in the base model with the option of an 88kW 1.6-litre engine with 5.8L/100km.
