HB Torana Series II

The big news with the Series II facelift released in September ’68 was the introduction of the Australian-designed and engineered four-door sedan, in S and SL guises.

The Brabham pack became its own model outright, while improved safety came via better brakes, improved wipers and a collapsible steering column.

The instrumentation was now round and recessed, the cabin trim was altered and there was minor badge reshuffling outside.

In total 36,561 HB Toranas were produced.
