Citroen C4 Aircross
1 Jul 2012
FRENCH car-maker Citroen launched its first SUV, the C4 Aircross in Australia in July, with a front-wheel drive and an all-wheel drive variant in petrol guise only.
As with the Peugeot 4008, the C4 Aircross was based on the Mitsubishi ASX sub-compact crossover and was powered by a 110kW 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a CVT.
At the time of release, Citroen's Australian arm said the reason for no diesel option was because it was only available with a manual gearbox.
Standard C4 AirCross features included a hill-hold function, cruise control, climate-control air-conditioning, a trip computer, front fog lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and Bluetooth.
