Mazda finally put the decade-old GD 626-based GV wagon out to pasture when the GF-based GW Estate arrived in early ’98.
Power came courtesy of the GF’s 93kW 2.0L four-cylinder engine available with a four-speed auto or five-speed manual gearbox.
The wagon’s wheelbase was extended 60mm to 2670mm to help provide 518 litres of cargo capacity.
