VW dealer wins second consecutive DOTY award

BURWIN Volkswagen in Ferntree Gully, Victoria, has been crowned Volkswagen Group Australia’s 2009 Dealer of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Presenting the award at a gala event in Sydney last weekend, VGA managing director Anke Koeckler said Burwin, which also took out the Southern Region Dealer of the Year award, “performed incredibly well and is a deserving winner for the second year in a row”.

“Recognition has to be given to the entire Volkswagen dealer network ... for their commitment to the brand in 2009,” she added. “The Volkswagen brand in Australia can be proud to be represented by such a dedicated group of dealerships and dealership staff.”

The German marque’s Rural Dealer of the Year was named as Dutton Volkswagen in South Australia, while its Commercial Vehicle DOTY award went to the Bayford Volkswagen Commercial Centre in Victoria.

Other awards presented at the event were: Central Region DOTY, Barloworld Volkswagen, NSW Northern Region DOTY, Ian Boettcher Volkswagen, Qld and Western Region DOTY, Albany Volkswagen, WA.
