VFACTS: 2018 car sales get the staggers

After a bright start, Australian new-vehicle market goes soft in first half

-CRACKS in the Australian new-vehicle car market widened as the first half of 2018 drew to a close in June, turning a promising year into something more worrying.

 

-Vehicle sales bounced out of the blocks in January, up 4.3 per cent on the same month of 2017, and then accelerated further with a healthy 7.8 per cent jump in sales in February.
