New models, dealer relations, financial services to push Nissan Australia turnaround

- Nissan Australia is set to lock in a new model strategy targeting high-growth and entry-level segments while rebuilding relations with its dealer network, as the company looks to turn around a sales decline largely caused by the discontinuation of several models.

- Since 2013, Nissan’s sales have dropped by 26 per cent, or about 20,000 units, after posting just 56,594 new registrations last year – a figure that was down 15.3 per cent over 2016.
