Holden refuses to confirm a Pontiac-badged version of its VE Commodore for the US

HOLDEN chief Denny Mooney last week refused to comment on GM product czar Bob Lutz's apparent confirmation that a Pontiac-badged SS Commodore would be unveiled at the Chicago motor show early next year.

"I won’t comment on anything Bob Lutz says," Mr Mooney told GoAuto. "But you can be sure if there is something, we'll let you know about it."Holden V6 donation
HOLDEN donated 150 Global V6 engines to Automotive Training Australia last week to assist vocational education for automotive students and apprentices.

Claimed to be worth more than $500,000, the engines will be farmed out to TAFE institutions, Australian Technical Colleges and other training providers around the nation.
