Holden names its top dealers for 2011

GM Holden reveals 2011 Grand Master dealers and Chairman’s Award winners

HOLDEN has announced the winners of its 2011 ‘Grand Masters’ dealership recognition program ahead of an awards ceremony next month.

In contrast to other ‘dealer of the year’ awards, a Grand Masters title is handed out to 32 dealerships each year across Holden’s national retail network of 244 outlets.

Six dealerships are recognised further with a ‘Chairman’s Award’ for those who have “surpassed their peers, finishing top within their predefined ‘Masters Group’, to prove they are the best Holden dealers in the country”.

For 2011, these are: Patterson Cheney Holden, Vermont, Victoria Bartons Bayside, Wynnum, Queensland Paul Wakeling Holden, Camden, New South Wales Sale City Holden, Sale, Victoria Rosenthal Automotive, Berri, South Australia and Halpin Motors, St George, Queensland.

The 2011 Grand Masters are: Shacks Holden, Fremantle, WA Watson Holden, Bundoora, Vic Metro Holden, Thebarton, SA Booran Holden, Dandenong, Vic Barry Bourke Holden, Berwick, Vic Southgate Holden, Reynella, SA Toowoomba Holden, Toowoomba, Qld City Holden, Adelaide, SA Motors Holden, Hobart, Tas Booran Holden, Cheltenham, Vic Motorama Holden, Springwood, Qld Colin Watson Holden, Traralgon, Vic Hamilton Holden, Somerton Park, SA Peninsula Holden, Bankstown, NSW Claridge Holden, Malvern, SA Central Coast Holden, Gosford, NSW Rockingham Holden, Rockingham, WA Ross Llewellyn Holden, Booval, Qld Ballarat Holden, Ballarat, Vic Cranbourne Holden, Cranbourne, Vic Duttons Motors, Murray Bridge, SA Beecham Holden, Caboolture, Qld Cessnock City Holden, Cessnock, NSW Island Coast Holden, Tully, Qld Pacific Holden, Gateshead, NSW Gatton Auto Centre, Gatton, Qld.

Holden says the Grand Masters program assesses dealerships on sales excellence, customer satisfaction, service delivery, parts performance and “astute business management”.

Holden chairman and managing director Mike Devereux said the winners of the ‘GM’ program “consistently exceeded expectations – they go above and beyond in the name of sales excellence and customer satisfaction”.

“This award is not handed out lightly,” he said. “It is an indication of the dealer’s commitment to an exceptional quality experience for each and every customer, on every occasion.

“I’m incredibly proud of these guys.”
