Hyundai appoints safety chief

Streamlined: Brian Latouf’s new role aims to integrate vehicle safety performance with Hyundai’s global research and development operations.

Latouf responsible for vehicle safety as Hyundai integrates engineering resources

HYUNDAI Motor Company has appointed Brian Latouf to the new position of global chief safety officer, (GCSO), reporting to president and COO Jose Munoz.

 

As the newly created GCSO, Mr Latouf will integrate the engineering resources of Hyundai by combining safety field investigations, safety data analysis, and safety engineering performance into a streamlined global technical function. 

 

He will have responsibility for vehicle safety performance through Hyundai’s research and development organisation.
