Curtis to leave PCA after seven years

Skills mix: Porsche’s new Australian boss Daniel Schmollinger has strong retail and marketing experience, to help bond dealers with the factory.

Schmollinger arriving from China to become new head of Porsche Cars Australia

PORSCHE Cars Australia has appointed Daniel Schmollinger as managing director and CEO effective September 1, 2021.


He replaces Sam Curtis, who has been in the position for seven years. Mr Curtis has not yet announced his next career move.


Mr Schmollinger is currently vice president of marketing for Porsche China. He will lead Porsche Cars Australia (PCA) and Porsche Retail Group Australia (PRGA), the entity that owns Porsche Centre Melbourne and Porsche Centre Sydney South.
