‘Army’ of engineers expected as German parts giant commits to local projects

- The Australian arm of the auto parts giant Continental will be looking to hire additional software engineers to meet its workload even after Ford, Holden and Toyota stop local production by the end of 2017.

- Continental’s Bundoora engineering site will play a key support role for the German group’s network of design and engineering operations across Asia, following a recent decision by head office to maintain the Australian engineering operations beyond 2017.
