NISSAN has added a trio of limited edition N-Sport models to its range that will cover its NP300 Navara ute, X-Trail mid-size SUV and Juke crossover.

Each N-Sport variant comes equipped with a number of visual tweaks to give the respective models a more aggressive look and to help set them apart from the rest of the range.

The NP300 Navara ute gets the most changes for its N-Sport variant, with a number of styling tweaks differentiating it from the standard versions.

The Navara ST 4x4 dual-cab gains 18-inch alloy wheels, a black honeycomb grille with smokey chrome accenting and foglight finishers, a sports front skirt, black sports bar, gun metallic side steps and rear bumper, leather-accented seat trim and a 7.0-inch touchscreen with satellite navigationIt is available with either a manual gearbox or automatic transmission, teamed to the Navara’s Renault-sourced 2.3-litre turbo-diesel engine.

The manual comes with a driveaway pricetag of $47,990, up from the regular equivalent’s asking price of $45,990 before on-road costs. Choosing the automatic variant adds $2500.

The N-Sport package will be offered on the ST and ST-L variants of the X-Trail mid-size SUV, in both its 2WD and 4WD guise.

The package will be offered in black or silver, with the silver version featuring 17-inch alloy wheels, a front bumper finisher, a foglight finisher for the ST-L only, side skirts and a rear bumper finisher. The black version gets all of this plus a gun metallic front grille.

Pricing starts from $33,990 for the base ST 2WD variant, compared to $30,490 BOCs for the non-N-Sport model.

All other N-Sport X-Trail variants are subject to local pricing.

Finally, the Juke compact crossover adds 18-inch alloy wheels, red mirror caps and door handles, and a body-coloured roof spoiler to its top-spec Ti-S AWD variant.

Priced at $35,990, it is $1500 dearer than the RRP of the regular Juke Ti-S AWD.

All N-Sport models come with a distinctive N-Sport badge.

Nissan is sitting on 33,773 sales for the first six months of 2016, putting it on track to narrowly eclipse its 2015 (66,062) and 2014 (66,025) figures if it continues with its current form.

The X-Trail has been the best individual performer, with 9426 units shifted so far this year, followed by the Navara with 8761 combined 4x2 and 4x4 sales, while the Qashqai compact SUV sits in third for the brand with 6416 sales to the end of June.
