New models - Chevrolet - Corvette - Z062027 Corvette Z06 drops with sharper pricingChevrolet’s MY27 Corvette Z06 gets an upgraded interior, more tech, $36K price drop1 Oct 2026 AUSTRALIAN pricing and specifications have been announced with the opening of order books for the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, which is now priced from $299,990 plus on-road costs, some $36,010 cheaper than before.
The Z06 sits atop the Corvette line-up above the electrified E-Ray (from $292,990 + ORCs) and the Stingray models (from $193,990 + ORCs).
For the new model year, the Z06 gains Corvette's updated interior complete with a 14.0-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 6.6-inch auxiliary display to the right of the steering wheel.
Furthermore, it gets greater USB-C connectivity, wireless phone charging, an enhanced performance data recorder, dedicated performance traction management access (which includes PTM Pro), and a relocated drive mode selector.
It is also compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, the Chevrolet mobile app, Chevrolet Connected Services and Google Maps built-in, Gemini, and Play Store, while also supporting over-the-air updates.
Power still comes from Chevrolet’s LT6-series naturally aspirated 5.5-litre flat-plane crank V8 – mated to an eight-speed dual clutch transmission – which retains its 475kW and 595Nm outputs.
The Z06 is underpinned with several performance features, including forged aluminium wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R ZP tyres, six-piston front Brembo performance brakes, General Motors’ Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 adaptive suspension system, and an electronic limited-slip differential
A removable roof, front lift with memory, a soft-close frunk and engine cover, GT2 bucket seats complete with Napa leather and carbon-fibre garnish, carbon-fibre steering wheel detailing and paddles, a heads-up display, and a 14-speaker sound system are also included as part of the 3LZ Coupe specification.
Several options are available for the updated model, including new 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged wheel designs, the Z07 Performance package (with track-focused add-ons including a carbon-fibre rear spoiler, carbon-fibre aero components, upgraded brakes, Ultra-Performance tyres, and performance suspension), carbon-fibre ground effects, a carbon-fibre or transparent removable roof and engine appearance package, a red engine cover, engine LED lighting, Brembo carbon-ceramic performance brakes, and six different brake caliper colour choices with the carbon-ceramic brake package.
Three new exterior colours (bringing the total exterior colour range to 10) are available for the 2027 Z06, those being Pitch Grey Metallic, Admiral Blue Metallic, and Roswell Green Metallic.
Multiple full-length racing stripe colour combinations are also available.
Acting managing director for General Motors in Australia and New Zealand Greg Rowe says the 2027 Z06 offers track capability, “impressive” personalisation levels, and “sharp” pricing.
“The new Z06 combines the iconic naturally aspirated V8, genuine track capability and an impressive level of personalisation,” he said.
“Importantly, its sharp new price point makes the Z06 more accessible, while the exclusive build-to-order model ensures every customer can create a Corvette that is distinctly their own.”
Production for the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is slated to begin in January of next year, with delivery timing dependent on production timing individual customer vehicle specification.
According to the latest-available VFACTS data, a total of 102 Corvettes have been sold in Australia so far this year, 77 of which have been the Stingray, along with six E-Ray examples, and 19 Z06s.
