Released: Aug 2017

Volkswagen will replace its ageing Crafter large van with a fully refreshed new model, starting from the second half of 2017. Customisation will a be large selling point for the Crafter, as it will be offered in a range of body styles, sizes and engine outputs from its EA288 2.0-litre turbo-diesel unit.

Jeep's small-size SUV, the Compass, enters its second generation positioned as a mini Grand Cherokee. A nine-speed automatic transmission will be used by all four-wheel-drive variants, which sacrifice none of their off-road ability in the transition to the new model.

Model: 720S

Released: Aug 2017

McLaren's first second-generation model, the Super Series, will be rolled out in 720S form initially. With 530kW and 770Nm on tap, the supercar will blast from standstill to 200km/h in a ludicrous 7.8 seconds.

Hyundai will finally enter the hotly contested small-size SUV segment when its debuts the Kona as a competitor for the Mazda CX-3. A split-level headlight cluster and large hexagonal grille dominate the edgy front fascia.

Model: 3008

Released: Aug 2017

Peugeot’s new-generation 3008 crossover SUV touches down in Australia in the third quarter of 2017, featuring Euro 6 powertrains including a 1.6-litre petrol unit and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel unit, both powered by an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission.

Model: Panamera - Turbo S E-Hybrid

Released: Aug 2017

Porsche will introduce a new flagship for its second-gen Panamera range, with the arrival of the Turbo S E-Hybrid. A 4.0-litre turbo-petrol V8 is paired with an electric motor for a combined outputs of 500kW and 850Nm.
