BUGATTI has used the recent Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California to roll out what will reportedly be the last limited-edition variant of its Veyron, the Grand Sport Sang Bleu.

According to reports from Germany, Volkswagen’s ultra-niche Bugatti brand will soon turn its attention to a slow-release reveal campaign for a model to replace the Veyron, which has tentatively been dubbed the Bugatti Bordeaux.

As previously reported, Bugatti is also rumoured to be readying a four-door version of the Vyron, speculatively dubbed the Royale, to appear at next month's Frankfurt motor show.

The Grand Sport Sang Bleu follows a procession of limited-edition Veyron variants, 250 of which have reportedly been sold from a total of 300 that were scheduled to be built, including the Sang Noir, Pur Sang, Fbg by Hermes, Grand Sport, Bleu Centenaire and a four further individual Centenaire tribute editions.

The latest Veyron made its global debut at the exclusive Monterey event in the US alongside similar reveals of the Bentley Mulsanne and Infiniti M, plus local debuts of the Aston Martin One-77 and new Jaguar XJ.
