Some people like vanilla ice cream, and some people will like the Honda Accord V6

WHEN it comes to sales of mid-size cars costing less than $60,000, Toyota’s locally made Camry and Camry Hybrid traditionally crush the competition.
But not everything is about four-cylinder cars and petrol-electric hybrid drivetrains, and this is where Japanese rival Honda steps up to the mark.
Mid-way through last year, it released the ninth generation of its Accord mid-sizer, a car that in its last generation introduced a little bit of luxury car feel into the segment, adding features such as fuel-saving cylinder deactivation and active noise cancellation to isolate the cabin from the hurley burley of the outside world.
Now that there’s a new Accord in town, Honda hasn’t dropped the ball, but rather has produced a decent family sedan that, we hope, offers something genuinely different to the opposition.
Unfortunately, though, you’ll have to pay more for it.
