A DUAL-ZONE climate control air-conditioning system with pollen filter is fitted standard across the 147 range. The controls are mounted low on the dash fascia in the form of three large dials, each with a trio of buttons contained within. The left-hand dial can rotate to adjust the temperature for the front passenger and carries buttons for air-conditioning on/off and auto/mono operation. The centre dial adjusts fan speed and has buttons for air distribution. The right-hand dial adjusts temperature for the driver and has buttons for air recirculation and front and rear demist. Four vents are provided across the dash - plus a fifth at the rear of the centre console for rear passengers.
Did you know?A measure of the 147's popularity is seen with annual production of 120,000 units - and rising - compared to the best ever sales year of the two cars it replaced, the 145 and 146, which was 55,000
