The Car

The Protege is the more conservative of the two 323 offerings, the other being the Astina hatchback. Like that car, the sedan suffers in a styling comparison with its svelte predecessors, particularly the Astina hardtop. However, that model's gone thanks to Mazda's ambition to build a conservative car for a conservative audience. The latest generation Protege certainly hits that bullseye.
