HONDA’S annus horribilis may not yet be over, but its run of dull cars may well be, for the CR-Z – rather unexpectedly seeing as it’s based so heavily on the underwhelming Insight – truly punches way harder than you might imagine.

Agile, attractive and oh-so-parsimonious, the dinky four-seater three-door hybrid coupe is in a class of its own in a number of ways.
