The Lion brand will also introduce a 60th Anniversary version of its imported Captiva SUV next month, priced from $43,990 for the petrol variant (diesel adds $1000) and adding a rear-view camera, 18-inch alloys, seven-inch LCD display, in-dash DVD player, auto-dipping rearview mirror, leather-wrapped gear shift and a front passenger under-seat storage tray.

It, too, carries anniversary badging and a number of other skin treatments including a new front fascia, black bezel headlamps, revised tail-lamps and silver paintwork on the skidplate, foglamps, roof rails and doorhandles.
